Saying I was excited to write the blog post about this wedding day is an understatement. Meghan and Justin have been so important to me and gave me my first opportunity to travel for a wedding! I was lucky enough to shoot Meghan and Justin's engagement at blue lakes in 2020. To my surprise 3 months before their big day I got a message asking if i would want to fly to Pittsburgh to photograph the wedding! Of course I said yes!
An amazing weekend in Pittsburgh got started with rehearsal dinner for Meghan and Justin. My second Sydney and I loved getting to visit downtown Pittsburgh on the way and spending time with the funnest wedding party. The next day was wedding day and we started bright and early. 10 hours of coverage easily turned into 12 with how much fun we had. Starting in the bridal suite with Meghan and her gals, and then making our way to a gorgeous rooftop for the first look, vows and some couples shots! Next was a bus ride to the venue, followed up by the ceremony, family photos, bridal party photos and the best reception ever! We danced the night away, hung out with the best dog ever; Morty, and ate some amazing dessert. Scroll down to relive this amazing day with me!
